Update or Reset Your SuperBox

Checking for Updates

Keep your SuperBox up to date for the best performance and newest features.

1. Open Settings from the home screen
2. Navigate to About
3. Select System Update
4. Tap Check Now to look for available updates
5. If an update is found, follow the on-screen prompts to install

Manual Update

If the automatic update check doesn't work, you can update manually:

1. Open the Browser on your SuperBox
2. Download the latest firmware from the official source
3. Open the File Manager app
4. Locate the downloaded file and tap to install
5. Restart your device after installation completes

Soft Reset

A soft reset clears temporary data while keeping your apps and settings intact.

1. Open Settings
2. Navigate to About
3. Select Factory Reset
4. Confirm the reset and wait for the device to restart

Hard Reset

A hard reset clears everything and restores your device to factory defaults.

1. From the home screen, enter code "0.0.0.0.0" using your remote
2. Wait for the device to restart completely
3. Follow the on-screen setup wizard

When to Reset

Consider resetting your SuperBox if you experience:

• Persistent lag or slow performance that doesn't improve after clearing cache
• Frequent app crashes or freezing
• Issues after a major system update
• Wi-Fi or connectivity problems that won't resolve
